Field Services Assistant

Job SummaryThe Field Services Assistant supports plumbing and septic service operations by safely operating company vehicles, transporting equipment or materials as needed, assisting field crews, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and readiness. This role is critical to field efficiency and job site safety.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate company trucks safely and professionally to job sites and disposal facilitiesTransport tools, piping, pumps, fittings, hoses, and job materialsAssist with jobsite setup and breakdown as neededSupport septic pumping operations (hose handling/loading/unloading)Maintain vehicle readiness: clean cab, clean tank area, organize storage compartmentsConduct daily inspections of assigned vehicle (lights, tires, fluids, hoses, fittings, etc.)Report maintenance issues immediately and document as requiredComplete trip tickets, disposal logs, fuel logs, and daily vehicle checklistCommunicate effectively with office for routing, schedule changes, and job notes or photosMaintain a professional image and courteous behavior with customersDig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching toolsPump and assist in the repair of septic systems and grease trapsAssisting on pump truck, locating, digging up, and pumping septic systems and grease trapsAll other duties assignedWork Environment / Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and/or carry up to 75 poundsAbility to work outdoors in hot and cold weather as well as other elementsExposure to septic waste environmentsStanding, bending, kneeling, climbing in/out of vehicles frequentlyQualificationsValid Driver's License RequiredClear Driving Record RequiredHigh School Diploma or EquivalentReliable attendance and positive attitudeAbility to communicate clearly and work efficientlyMust be comfortable asking and taking customer payments if necessarySome understanding of Septic systems, materials, tools and equipmentAbility to communicate well with customers and team membersManage detailed reports of work done on job sites to ensure successful and adequate installations or repairs performedExceptional customer service and client focusExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skillsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance OptionsPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
