API 537 Quality Mechanical Inspector- Tulsa, OK (1099 Contractor)
Responsibilities:- The inspector must be able to:Witness pilot testing sequences in accordance with API 537Verify:Ignition reliabilityFlame stabilityPilot and burner performanceReview and validate:Technical documentationMaterial certificatesTest procedures and test reportsPrepare a clear and complete inspection reportIssue final endorsement of test results.Technical Qualifications: Mandatory Technical Experience API 537 – Direct hands-on experience witnessing or verifying: Flare pilot testingBurner and pilot performanceExperience with:Pilot ignition systems Flame stability verificationCombustion performance assessment.Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 1–2 years of field experience in: Flare systemsCombustion and burner equipmentProven experience working as Third-Party Inspector (TPI)Preferred Certifications: API-related certifications (API 510 / 570 / 653 – preferred but not mandatory)TPI or equivalent inspection certificationSafety training for field / combustion environments.
