Seeking a Fellowship trained, BC/BE Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a growing Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in Greenville, NC.Highlights: Full-time, employed position The successful candidate will join a growing academic division with a full-time tenure track appointment at the rank of professor or associate professor Clinical assistant or clinical associate professor fixed term appointments are also available Provide direct clinical care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings Responsibilities will also include teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees and clinical research Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system State-of-the-art Behavioral Health facility to open in the fall of 2025 Inpatient clinical responsibilities will be for consults only on the current 50+ bed inpatient behavioral health unit Outpatient clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients at the outpatient clinic and the Geriatric Center Monday-Friday 8a 5p schedule Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities Work with growing, multi-disciplinary, and collegial department Salary and academic rank (tenure track or fixed term) commensurate with experience and academic background Comprehensive Benefits Including: Relocation Assistance Vacation CME Days & Reimbursement Malpractice (with tail) 401k Insurance State Benefits Disability Life Insurance Opportunities exist for student loan repayment The Community:Living in Greenville, NC provides a perfect blend of small-town charm and modern conveniences.
