We are committed to creating a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace where employees feel valued, empowered, and set up for success.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building strong teams, and want to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to meet you.What You'll Do Onboarding & Employee Experience Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientationCreate a welcoming and organized first-day experienceSupport employee engagement initiatives and retention effortsServe as a trusted resource for employee questions and supportHR Operations & Compliance Maintain employee records and HR documentationEnsure compliance with California labor laws and HR best practicesSupport leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and employee relations mattersAssist with policy updates, handbooks, and internal processesBenefits & Compensation Support benefits administration and open enrollmentPartner with employees and carriers to resolve benefit questionsAssist with compensation tracking, benchmarking, and HR reportingCulture & Growth Help foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing cultureSupport leadership with coaching, communication, and employee development initiativesContribute ideas to improve systems, efficiency, and employee satisfactionWhat We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of Human Resources experienceKnowledge of California employment laws and HR practicesExperience in onboarding, employee relations, or benefits administrationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with professionalismPreferred Qualifications Experience with ADP Workforce NowHealthcare, education, or multi-site workforce experienceBilingual skills are a plusHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferredWhy Join Ascend?
