About the jobThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management bydelivering strategic HR support and driving organizational effectiveness.We're looking for someone who● Holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent with several years of HR experience● Has experience supporting manufacturing environments, including light industrial andnon-exempt employees● Demonstrates working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation,employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforceplanning● Has strong knowledge of federal and California employment laws● Is experienced managing complex employee relations matters● Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills● Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills● Has strong interpersonal and customer service skills● Is highly organized with strong attention to detail● Can interpret and apply laws, guidelines, regulations, and company policies appropriately● Is proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software● Has strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesWhat you'll do● Conduct regular meetings with business unit managers to provide HR guidance andsupport● Consult with line management on employee relations, performance management, andworkforce matters● Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies● Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues● Provide coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary guidance to leadership● Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational restructures● Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers● Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation● Identify training and executive coaching needs and monitor program effectiveness● Partner with legal as needed to ensure compliance and reduce risk● Support international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters● Maintain business literacy regarding financial position, culture, and competitive landscape● Perform additional projects and duties as assigned
