Personal Injury Litigation Associate Attorney

Stark & Stark has a full-time opening for a Personal Injury Litigation Associate in our Hamilton, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal research and writing skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and be self-directed and detail oriented. Candidates must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is hungry to learn, takes ownership in their work, and is committed to mastering both written and oral advocacy skills.Responsibilities:The candidate will support personal injury cases with the oversight of other attorneys in the practice. Responsibilities will include intensive legal research and writing, developing discovery strategies and drafting discovery materials, interacting with both potential and existing clients, preparing for and eventually conducting depositions, drafting and responding to pleadings, motions and discovery requests, developing litigation strategies and themes, retaining and working with experts, actively preparing cases for trial under the mentorship of experienced trial attorneys and supporting those attorneys at trial.Qualifications:1-3 years of experiencePersonal injury experience is a plusNew Jersey appellate clerkship is a plusFluency in a second language is a plusThe candidate should excel in the following areas:Advanced legal analysis and issue-spottingHigh-quality legal research and persuasive drafting of pleadings, discovery, and motionsWritten and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyClient relationsCommitment to team cultureIndependent problem solverThe candidate should possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to interact directly with clients, colleagues, adversaries and the Courts.
