In this position, the individual provides high-quality instructional coaching, ongoing professional guidance, and documentation to ensure that BTC teachers grow as effective educators. Simultaneously, the role supports the spiritual, community, and programmatic life of BTC teachers by coordinating retreats and community events, facilitating recruitment and alumni engagement, and managing communication and logistics that strengthen the BTC mission.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESInstructional CoachingConducts bimonthly classroom observations and post-observation debrief meetings with first and second year teachers in Catholic schoolsProvides regular instructional coaching supportSupports Practicum workshops, orientation, and other professional development sessionsDocuments coaching visits, observations, and teacher progressAssists in tracking certification-related requirementsCommunity & Spiritual FormationSupport teacher community life through pastoral care, conflict resolution, and ongoing programmingPlan retreats, spirituality nights, community events, and orientation sessionsOversee BTC residence logistics, maintenance requests, and community accountabilityMarketing, Communications & RecruitmentSupports the Director in recruitment events, outreach, and information sessionsMaintains BTC social media and assist with website updatesProduces regular recruitment and alumni communicationsOnboarding & Alumni EngagementTracks onboarding documents and assist with summer orientation logisticsCoordinates alumni events and maintain alumni communicationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESKnowledge of effective instructional practices and familiarity with instructional coaching models, observation protocols, and teacher development frameworksKnowledge of instructional practices and classroom managementUnderstanding of Catholic education and faith-based community formation, with the ability to support spiritual growth and pastoral careStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trusting relationships, facilitate difficult conversations, and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersOrganizational, event planning, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines while managing logistics, communication, and follow-upProficiency with digital tools, including email communication, social media (especially Instagram and Linked In), basic website content updates, and Microsoft Office/Google WorkspaceFlexibility and adaptability, with willingness to work occasional evenings and weekendsCommitment to the mission of the Billiken Teacher Corps, including service, community, and the holistic formation of teachersAbility to mentor and support early-career teachers, providing constructive feedback and guidanceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in education or a related fieldThree or more years of full-time K-12 teaching experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience as an instructional coach, mentor teacher, or teacher leaderExperience working in Catholic schoolsBackground in pastoral care, ministry, or community formationEvent planning or program coordination experienceProficiency in managing social media for an organization (Instagram, Linked In etc.)FunctionStaff Program SupportScheduled Weekly Hours:40
