Warehouse/Delivery Driver (non-CDL)
Position SummaryWe are immediately seeking a qualified Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to support the warehouse operation by fulfilling logistical needs in processing, storing inventory, picking orders, and making deliveries to our customers promptly.Branch: Tri-State Flooring in Sioux Falls, SD Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Local RoutesPay: $18-$20/hrResponsibilitiesPick, pack, stage, and load customer orders.Receive inventory and inspect products for damage, stock products to bin locations.Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.Assist the Branch Manager in executing warehouse standards of safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.Organize inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage and transport.Ensure SOPs for inventory control are followed so pallets are properly shrink-wrapped, strapped, and banded for storage and transport.Delivering customer orders per our established schedule as a delivery driver ensuring a positive customer experience while complying with all Department of Transportation regulations for a vehicle 26,000 lbs. or less.Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.QualificationsEducation & ExperiencesHigh School diploma or equivalent degree.Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment.Excellent attention to detail with consistent, accurate, and quality work output.Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results.Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.Commercial driving experience is a plus!Clean driving record including a valid state motor vehicle license. Ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screen in accordance with company requirements.Other QualificationsForklift experience and the ability to obtain forklift certification.Experience in the flooring and/or building materials industry is a plus.Able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company’s workplace safety.Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening.Legally permitted to work in the United States.
