Engineering Program Manager

Overview In this Program Manager role, you lead multiple engineering projects from award through 90 days post-SOP, ensuring on-time, on-spec delivery within budget. You will coordinate a cross-functional team and serve as the primary customer interface, driving risk management and status reporting. You help align programs with the company's quality and environmental policies while capturing lessons learned for future programs. This is a pivotal role shaping program execution and customer satisfaction. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and project leadership from concept to launch for cross-functional teamsMeet all project deliverables and requirements aligned with customer SOWCommunicate project status and proactively manage riskAct as primary customer interface for project issuesMaintain project costs within baseline budgets for BOM, tooling, and investmentDevelop and maintain project timing charts to meet milestonesEstablish countermeasures when deliverables are at riskInitiate and publish the program open issues reportBuild and manage an effective teamReview lessons learned and document best practices from each projectSupport internal and external cost-cutting effortsEnsure awareness of EMS and QMS requirements and environmental responsibilities Key requirements5 years of program management experience with engineered productsMultiple product launch experience in the automotive industry as a Tier 1 supplierBachelor’s degree in technical field, or ten years of Project Management experienceAutomotive lighting and/or electronics experience preferredCustomer focusCommunicationLeadershipProject managementSOW understandingCost/budget control
