Full Stack Java DeveloperUS Bank | Hybrid (onsite in Richfield)Contract through 12/29 + ExtensionsThis position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceFour to Five years of minimum relevant experienceResponsibilities:Designs and writes complex code in several languages relevant to our existing product stack, with a focus on automationConfigures, tunes, maintains and installs applications systems and validates system functionalityInstalls new software releases and application system upgrades. Evaluates and installs software patchesMonitors and fine tunes applications system to achieve optimum performance levels and works with hardware teams to resolve issues with hardware and softwareAssists with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure teams member to troubleshootAddresses product backlog and provide continuous delivery of high-quality featuresMaintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrityActs to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase efficiencyWorks collaboratively with cross functional teams, using Agile / DevOps principles to bring products to life, achieve business objectives andPreferred Skills/Experience:Extensive experience in Java, Springboot, Rest API, Microservices and SQLStrong experience in React, Javascript, HTML, CSSExperience in Public/Private Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)Has a complete understanding of a feature, the users impacted, the flows impacted and feature's purposeTechnical designs are clear, well thought out, and considers dependencies, failure states, maintainability, testability and ease of supportAdept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principlesMust have experience with code reviews and working with off-shore teams.
