Join Our Team as a Senior Warehouse Associate in Facilities Maintenance and Forklift Operations Support the seamless flow of warehouse activities by balancing intensive material handling duties with essential facility upkeep. Contribute to overall facility efficiency and site safety by collaborating directly with the maintenance and operations departments. Core Responsibilities Utilize sit-down forklifts to manage ground-level staging, loading, and the transport of heavy materials. Drive order pickers to facilitate high-level inventory selection, conduct stock audits, and reach elevated maintenance areas. Maintain structural integrity by repairing storage racks, adjusting safety netting, and fixing dock doors, seals, and various heavy fixtures. Ensure optimal visibility and safety by replacing high-bay lighting and inspecting top-level racking while utilizing fall-protection gear. Execute general facility repairs, such as painting, drywall patching, minor plumbing, basic carpentry, and equipment assembly. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by performing consistent safety inspections of the floor, racking, and emergency exits to ensure OSHA standards are met. Required Qualifications Possess three to five years of background in warehouse settings, specifically involving handyman or facilities maintenance tasks. Demonstrate expertise in operating sit-down forklifts and order pickers, including the ability to work at heights of 30 feet while wearing safety harnesses. Maintain the physical capacity to stand or walk for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs consistently. Showcase strong mechanical problem-solving abilities and comfort using a wide range of power and hand tools. Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $22.00. Interested in this opportunity?
