Hybrid Software Developer PositionLocation: Hybrid - Onsite in McLean, VA: Tuesday through Thursday.Work Authorization: This requirement is open to sponsored candidates through sub-vendors - one layer deep. The candidates must be W2 employees of the sub vendor. Extension/Conversion: This is a 3 month contract position with opportunity to extend.Qualifications:Bachelor's/Master's Degree with Major in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalentMinimum 3 years of related software development experienceExperience in developing and deploying Micro-services in AWS environment, OpenShift Container Platform or equivalent.Extensible knowledge on Spring-Boot, Spring Integration Java Technologies, and Front-end UI development frameworks like Angular and REACT JS is desiredExperience/Knowledge on MongoDB, PostgreSQL Databases.High level of exposure to testing frameworks like Junit, Cucumber, & CypressExperience in code delivery pipelines and adept in building Build and Deployment tools using Maven, Gradle, and JenkinsKnowledge or experience in Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.Experience working in Scaled Agile, Modern Delivery experience is a plus.Significant contributor to the team, whose code follows latest coding practices and Freddie Mac standards.Author, writing the unit, integration tests and functional automation.Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.Make significant contributions to the success of our team's OKRs.Takes the lead on ensuring that the code is of high quality; constantly challenges ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.Demonstrates innovation when developing and designing the business logic.Demonstrates a collaboration approach while working with others to build the business logic and backend systemsRequired Skills:Java o Back end Java and Spring Boot.Front end must have would be Angular 8+. (Prefers angular over react)Database side would be MongoDB or NoSQL databaseSolid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.Deployment Side: Creating pipelines and definitely need someone to have some knowledge.
