This role includes providing care to patients in the post-anesthesia phase. Shifts may vary between 8 hours and 10 hours, typically starting at 07:00. The work hours are based on the operational hours of the PACU. Nurses will be required to float within the specialty and to other units as necessary. On-call duties are included, with specific days designated for call. Holidays and weekends may be required as scheduled. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in various nursing skills relevant to the PACU setting. Responsibilities include managing patient care related to pre/post-operative procedures and ensuring safe discharge.
