Operations Manager/Leader
The operations manager/leader is a working position that is responsible for the timely and cost effective scheduling and routing of maintenance and repair of office printers/copiers, and for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with our service and products. Key responsibility is daily coordination /management and monitoring of workload of 5 technicians.
Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective and efficient repair with selective customer training to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ability to troubleshoot and think independently.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated
Experience in managing workload of small teams
Ability to train the end users.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the customer service responses and workload of 5 technicians
ordering toner and parts and managing on hand inventory
responsible for appropriate QuickBooks entries
follow up on service calls for quality assurance
stage daily work routes at end of day
planning operational workload on a daily basis
guide daily work productivity
assist with printer repair/delivery as needed
respond to all emails within a 24 hour period
responding to customer requests in a timely manner
ensure all internal procedures are adhered to
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand the inner workings of printers
- Proficiency in computer networking to connect printers to the network
- Familiarity with IT concepts related to printers, such as drivers and firmware updates
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot printer issues effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate printing and quality control
- Knowledge of different printer models and their specific features
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
Knowledge of Quickbooks and inventory a plus
Must be able to problem solve, conduct is written and verbal communication, read and comprehend technical information.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes.
Must have a reliable vehicle.
Must have valid driver license and insurance.
SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Educational Background
Candidates with a High School Diplomas, Electronics or Computer Associates Degrees will be preferred.
Certifications:
Candidates with relevant certifications will be preferred.
