Our client provides comprehensive fire alarm system services for commercial, mixed-use, education, healthcare, and residential environments. This is a hands-on opportunity for a certified Fire Alarm Technician to make a direct impact through code-compliant installation, maintenance, and emergency support while working with a variety of system types and building applications.Responsibilities:Install and upgrade fire alarm systems in commercial and residential properties.Test, repair, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems in compliance with industry standards.Conduct thorough inspections to ensure proper installation and code adherence (NFPA 70, NFPA 72).Accurately complete inspection reports and documentation of identified issues or repairs.Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system malfunctions.Coordinate with building managers, contractors, and project teams on site requirements.Stay current with technology, standards, and best practices in fire alarm systems.Must-Have Skills:Active NICET Level I, II, or III certification in Fire Alarm Systems.Demonstrated experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code).Ability to perform detailed inspections and complete required documentation.Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with fire alarm systems in healthcare, retail/mixed-use, or educational environments.Familiarity with integration of alarm systems with broader security platforms.Strong customer communication and project coordination skills.Up-to-date manufacturer training or certifications on major alarm systems.Current industry safety certifications and valid driver’s license.
