The company primarily supports hospitality and hotel projects, including new builds and renovations. This role supports detailed estimating, plan review, and software-based takeoff work for U.S.-based commercial projects.Position OverviewThe Project Estimator will support Division 08 estimating work by reviewing plans and specifications, performing takeoffs, entering detailed line items into Comsense, and coordinating pricing with manufacturers. This role requires strong knowledge of doors, frames, hardware, and U.S. manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, experienced with Comsense, and able to work accurately within a small, fast-moving team.Key ResponsibilitiesReview plans, specifications, and addenda to understand Division 08 project scopePerform quantity takeoffs for doors, frames, hardware, and related Division 08 componentsCommunicate with contractors, owners, or project contacts to clarify scope details when neededPrepare accurate estimates for hospitality, hotel, renovation, and commercial projectsIdentify missing or unclear information in plans and specificationsObtain quotes from manufacturers and coordinate pricing within ComsenseMaintain organized estimate files and support clean documentation across active bidsWork side by side with internal estimating support while reporting directly to leadershipQualificationsRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projectsDirect experience estimating Division 8 scopes of work including doors, frames, and hardwareProficiency in Excel (formulas, structured spreadsheets)Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, or similar)Ability to identify missing information and ask clear clarification questionsAbility to read and interpret construction drawingsFluent in English (C1/C2 level)Ability to work independently in a remote environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with Comsense software, Software for Hardware (SFH) or similar tools.Experience with SharePoint, Monday.com, or similar project/file management toolsExperience estimating hospitality or hotel projectsExperience with large commercial door packages ranging up to $1M–$2M+Work Environment & CompensationSchedule: Full-time (40hrs a week)Compensation: $12 hour ($2,000 monthly)Location: Remote (LATAM Applicants only)Primary project types include hospitality, hotel renovations, hotel new builds, and commercial projectsWe look forward to reviewing your application.
