Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong understanding of both development and operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently. Responsibilities Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab. Troubleshoot software issues across various environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime. Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Puppet to automate deployment processes. Monitor distributed systems for performance and reliability, responding promptly to incidents as they arise. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support application functionalities. Engage in software project management activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Implement best practices in computer networking to optimize system performance and security. Skills Proficient in software troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve issues effectively. Experience with GitLab for version control and collaboration on software projects. Strong knowledge of C++ programming language for application development and maintenance. Familiarity with Puppet for configuration management and automation tasks. Understanding of distributed systems architecture and its implications on performance and scalability. Solid grasp of computer networking concepts to enhance system connectivity and security measures. Experience with Jenkins for automating build processes and continuous integration workflows. Ability to perform incident response effectively, minimizing impact on operations during outages or failures.
