Business Systems Analyst VRemote6 months to startTeam is GlobalNormal schedule is 8am-5pm CST The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for our iOS mobile application plays a critical role in shaping and delivering new app features and enhancements. This role partners closely with Product Management, iOS Engineering, UX/UI Design, and business stakeholders to translate business needs and user goals into clear, actionable requirements that drive high?quality mobile experiences.This is a feature-focused role, centered on defining functionality, improving user workflows, and ensuring solutions are technically feasible, intuitive, and aligned with business objectives.Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with product, design, and engineering teams to define and deliver new iOS app features and enhancementsElicit, analyze, and document business and user requirements using clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specificationsTranslate complex business needs into mobile?friendly solutions, accounting for iOS platform capabilities and constraintsCollaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure requirements support intuitive, user-centered experiencesWork closely with iOS engineers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and support solution design decisionsSupport backlog refinement, sprint planning, and feature prioritization activitiesEvaluate existing app functionality and recommend improvements to usability, workflows, and performanceAssist with testing and validation by reviewing test cases, supporting QA and UAT, and ensuring delivered features meet business expectationsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear status updates, trade?off discussions, and solution recommendationsMaintain thorough, organized documentation throughout the feature lifecycleRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong ability to translate business needs into functional mobile app requirementsExperience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flowsSolid understanding of mobile app development concepts, particularly iOS (e.g., app lifecycle, integrations, APIs, platform limitations)Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non?technical teamsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple features or initiatives simultaneously and work independentlyComfortable operating in Agile/Scrum development environmentsPreferred ExperienceExperience supporting consumer?facing or internal mobile applicationsFamiliarity with UX principles and mobile design patternsExperience working directly with iOS development teamsExposure to tools such as Azure DevOps, Figma, or similar product and documentation toolsEducationBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
