Legend Biotech is seeking a Legal Operations Manager, Contracts & Privacy as part of the Legal team based in Bridgewater, NJ.Role OverviewThe Legal Operations Manager, Contracts & Privacy supports the Legal Department by managing day-to-day contract lifecycle administration, coordinating operational aspects of the company’s Global Privacy program and assisting with legal operations processes and tools. This role is highly execution-oriented and works closely with attorneys and cross-functional partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-organized legal workflows in a fast-paced biotech environment. The position will coordinate closely with Legend Biotech’s Chief Privacy Officer and reports to Legend Biotech’s Deputy General Counsel.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Lifecycle AdministrationCoordinate the end-to-end contract process, including intake, routing, approvals, execution, and filingMaintain and update contract records in the company’s CLM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of dataEnsure contracts comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and approval processesPopulate basic contract template agreements (e.g. NDAs, consulting agreements, etc.)Track contract status, key dates (e.g., expirations, renewals), and obligationsAssist in maintaining contract templates, standard forms and clause librariesRespond to internal inquiries regarding contract status and processPerform other contracts-related activities and tasks as assignedPrivacy Program SupportSupport day-to-day operations of the company’s Global Privacy programAssist with privacy impact assessments, security risk assessments and other privacy reviews and documentationMaintain records related to data processing activities and ensure compliance with data subject right requestsHelp coordinate privacy training, awareness initiatives and policy updatesTrack and escalate privacy-related issues and requests to appropriate stakeholdersOrganize and coordinate privacy champions meetings to ensure privacy requirements are understood and implementedCoordinate implementation of data mapping plan to maintain up to data inventory, liaising with system/business owners, and assist with other EU GDPR operational mattersTrack key privacy metrics (e.g., breaches report, PIAs conducted, DSARs received)Assist with clinical trial privacy matters, including informed consent (ICF) updates, investigator/HCP notice, and related mattersLegal Operations SupportMaintain organized legal files, databases, and corporate recordsSupport subsidiary management across US & EU jurisdictionsSupport reporting efforts by compiling basic KPIs, metrics and data for the Legal TeamAssist with invoice processing and vendor onboarding as neededSupport implementation and ongoing management of legal systems and tools Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required4+ years of experience in legal coordination, contract administration, paralegal support or legal operationsExperience with contract management systems or similar tools strongly preferredBasic familiarity with data privacy concepts and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) is a plusStrong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectivelyEffective communication and responsivenessAbility to follow established processes and identify opportunities for improvementComfort working with systems, data and cross-functional teams The base pay range below is what Legend Biotech USA Inc. reasonably expects to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
