Senior Python Developer

Senior Python Developer Take2 is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer with the technical skills and the drive to support our customers' complex emerging tech initiatives. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with Python and developing AI applications in the private sector, as well as experience supporting federal government technology initiatives. This is an individual contributor role focused primarily on coding.Education & Certification RequirementsA Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for education.Clearance RequirementsPublic Trust clearance is required. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain the clearance.Onsite RequirementsThis role is a remote opportunity.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain full-stack applications with an emphasis on AI integration.Design and implement backend services and APIs.Collaborate with data scientists and AI researchers to embed AI models into applications.Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards.Advise on advancements in AI technologies, tools, and best practices.QualificationsExtensive experience with Python as a primary language.Proven track record in building and deploying modern web applications.Experience with dynamic languages/platforms such as Node.js, Ruby, or PHP.Knowledge of prompt engineering and working with large language models (LLMs).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and within a team.Excellent communication skills.Desired SkillsProficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and NoSQL databases like Cosmos DB.Experience developing solutions on Azure supporting AI, including Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, and Azure App Service.
