Engineering Manager

Overview In this Engineering Manager role, you plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing projects to meet timelines and budgets. You will lead cross-functional reviews, maintain program documentation, and communicate with customers on progress and issues. You drive product engineering from Phase V to IX per TQC/QS9000, support new product introductions, and ensure TECA, PCR, and related processes are followed. You manage the plant maintenance program, safety and quality compliance, and lead a team to improve operations. ResponsibilitiesReview project proposals for scope, timing, resources and budgetCoordinate VA/VE activities with relevant departmentsDeliver customer updates on timing and performanceMaintain and track open issues list and key program issuesManage product engineering activities from Phase V to IX under TQC proceduresOversee plant engineering activities including new product introductions and launchesEnsure adherence to TECA, PCR, ER, and related documentation processesCreate and maintain Process FMEAs and related work instructionsSupport setup and maintenance of production tooling and equipmentParticipate in plant objective setting and performance reviewsManage and implement the plant maintenance program using automotive best practicesMonitor inventories and maintain CMMS to track work orders and equipment historyAnalyze data to improve operations and reduce downtimeEnsure maintenance staff are trained and motivatedSchedule preventative maintenance and manage overtime/vacation Key requirementsBachelor in Engineering or related field5-10 Years of strong Manufacturing Engineering experience5 Years of managerial experienceProcess FMEAsCMMSproduction tooling and equipmentTECAPCRER
