Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate has hands‐on experience with Azure cloud operations, a key qualification for migrating and managing Windows Server and SQL workloads in the cloud.Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Engineer job responsibilities include:* Migrate and manage Windows Server and SQL workloads in Azure, ensuring secure and efficient cloud adoption across applications and infrastructure.* Configure and maintain Azure services including VMs, VNets, NSGs, Azure Monitor, and Defender for Cloud to support operational reliability and compliance.* Automate deployments using IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to streamline provisioning and enforce consistent environment configurations.* Implement identity and access controls using Azure AD and RBAC while supporting governance and security best practices.* Develop Power BI dashboards to deliver operational insights and support data‐driven decision‐making for business and technical stakeholders.* Collaborate with DevOps and analytics teams to integrate CI/CD processes, enhance cloud operations, and ensure seamless delivery across environments.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.* 4-6 years of experience in cloud operations, Azure administration, or infrastructure automation.* Strong hands‐on experience with Azure services (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud) and migration of Windows Server/SQL workloads.* Proficiency with automation and IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, along with scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
