Details Position is in the Operating Room of a large Level 1 trauma hospital Work schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 6:45pm to 7:15am on a two-week repeating weekday night schedule No weekend or on-call responsibilities May float between 21 main OR rooms and 6 ambulatory ORs Cases include neuro/crani (must be capable of performing Burr hole procedures), trauma, ortho-trauma, spine, general (open belly), vascular, some ENT (thyroid), GYN, and GU/cystoscopy procedures Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience in a comparable large Level 1 trauma facility Prior travel experience in a Level 1 trauma environment required High proficiency in neuro, craniotomy, and trauma procedures Ability to perform Burr hole procedures independently Up-to-date certifications relevant to perioperative nursing Additional Information Holiday coverage is required as part of the regular schedule No block scheduling is permitted for this assignment Strong performance on skills checklist is required for consideration Will work alongside a large surgical team in a fast-paced trauma operating environment American Traveler Job ID P-611937.
