QA Automation Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY: The Sr. Quality Engineer will be a key member of the Digital Technology Engineering team responsible for the automation& manual testing of various new and existing web and mobile applications. You’ll join a team of experts in quality engineering technologies.Specific Functions/Activities SUMMARY: Promote QA productivity by applying best practices of automated tests.Communicate with stakeholders to understand and clarify software requirements.Analyze test results to predict user behavior, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimize problems.Work closely with product development and testing teams to ensure timely delivery of the project.Keep track of quality metrics.Verify that the final product meets the requirement.Analyze product features and suggest changes to enhance them to make them more efficient and user friendly.Stay up to date with the latest industry developments, standards and regulations.Execute both manual and automated test scripts.Code and implement automated tests, design & maintain automation frameworks.QUALIFICATIONS: Hands-on testing experience on functional testing (UI testing, API testing, Data validation) smoke testing, performance, load testing, and end-to-end testing.A minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on testing experience. Automation experience is mandatory. JavaScript with Cucumber BDD/WebDriver IO is required.Proficiency with any of these testing frameworks and libraries: Jest (or similar, like Karma or Jasmine), Mocha, Chai, CucumberJS, BDD, Gherkin, WebDriver IO, CI/CD tools like docker, Jenkins, code hosting & version control tools like Github.Experience in implementation & integration of automation test suites to CI/CD pipeline.Ability to design test automation frameworks & leverage those to various projects.Analytical and data minded individual, proficient in debugging logs/ issues.Experience working in a cloud-only environment, specifically in AWS.
