Functional Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Integrate, configure, and maintain test beds for functional testing.Write and modify test scripts for validation and automation activities.Execute tests, generate reports, and analyze logs for issue identification.Perform debugging, failure analysis, and issue triaging.Support FAI (First Article Inspection) and lab management activities.Track lab assets and maintain quality and compliance standards.Support EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) compliance requirements.Manage lab logistics and equipment organization.Handle and configure test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DAQ systems, Multi-meters, Power Supplies, Traffic Generators, and cabling.Ensure calibration and upkeep of lab instruments.Develop and execute scripts using Linux, Java, and Python environments.Work with command-line tools, scripting arguments, and algorithm-based problem-solving.Required Skills:Experience in functional testing and test execution.Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line environments.Familiarity with Java and Python scripting.Understanding of test automation and debugging methodologies.Experience handling lab instruments and test equipment.Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot system issues.Understanding of quality, compliance, and lab operational processes.
