Software Engineer in Test

Our client is seeking a skilled SDET to join a high-performing engineering team focused on building and validating large-scale, cloud-connected platforms. In this role, you will contribute to test planning, test case development, execution, and automation for distributed software systems that power vehicle-to-cloud communication and enable driving experiences at a global scale.We are seeking curious, driven engineers who thrive in ambiguity, embrace emerging technologies, and are comfortable taking on diverse responsibilities in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.What You'll DoDesign and sustain an automated test infrastructure supporting a large-scale, microservices-based platform with numerous interdependent componentsAuthor, execute, and maintain end-to-end system integration and user acceptance test scenarios across the platformConvert user stories into well-defined test scenarios and cases, and provide early feedback to improve story testabilityCoordinate with internal business groups and external teams to support end-to-end integration testingWork side-by-side with developers to build, maintain, and run automated unit and integration testsPartner with DevOps to embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesEngage Product Owners and end users in the execution of user acceptance testingTake full ownership of your work — from initial concept through code and into productionCreate reusable tools and libraries that accelerate development velocity and scalabilityRequirements5+ years of experience in software development and testing5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks and supporting infrastructureStrong proficiency in developing testing frameworks using JavaPractical experience querying and interacting with databases via JavaSolid background in testing serverless architectures and validating workloads on AWS or comparable public cloud platformsDemonstrated ability to manage and execute API test suites, including load testingComfort and experience with TestNG and JUnitHands-on experience configuring test pipelines within CI/CD toolingExperience validating complex, multi-component data pipelinesProven ability to estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing efforts within a Scrum frameworkFamiliarity with test and issue tracking platforms such as Jira or qTest, with attention to requirements traceabilityPrior exposure to telematics data validation or delivery workflows is a plusExperience with behavior-driven or test-driven development using frameworks such as Cucumber, JBehave, JGiven, or similar is a plus
