Job Type: Full-TimeWork Model: OnsiteLocation: Eureka, CaliforniaShift: 10-Hour Day ShiftsClient is seeking an experienced Lead Cardiovascular Technologist to support Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Imaging operations. Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Tech assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities within the department while serving as a clinical, technical, and administrative resource for staff.The ideal candidate will possess strong Cath Lab and interventional imaging experience, excellent technical competency, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-focused care within a collaborative healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCardiovascular & Interventional Imaging SupportPerform cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures Support Cath Lab procedures and imaging operations Ensure accurate imaging quality and patient safety standards Assist physicians and clinical teams during procedures Maintain compliance with department imaging protocols and standards Leadership & Supervisory SupportServe as a clinical and technical resource for department staff Support limited supervisory and operational responsibilities Assist with staff coordination and workflow management Promote adherence to department policies, procedures, and quality standards Support training and mentoring activities within the department Patient Care & SafetyDeliver patient-focused care throughout imaging and Cath Lab procedures Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety practices Maintain BLS standards and emergency preparedness Support accurate patient documentation and procedural records Operational & Technical ResponsibilitiesOperate cardiovascular imaging and radiologic equipment Ensure compliance with radiology and interventional imaging regulations Maintain technical competency and department standards Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives Must-Have QualificationsGraduate of a Radiology Imaging Technologist program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association Current California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification Current BLS Certification - American Heart Association Minimum 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience Strong technical and clinical competency in cardiovascular imaging procedures Ability to work full-time onsite in Eureka, California Preferred QualificationsCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Certification Prior supervisory or lead technologist experience Experience working in high-volume Cath Lab environments Strong leadership and mentoring skills Experience supporting operational workflow and department coordination Core SkillsCardiovascular Imaging Cath Lab Interventional Imaging ARRT Certification California Radiologic Technology BLS Certification Patient Care Cardiovascular Procedures Fluoroscopy Diagnostic Imaging Leadership Support Clinical Operations Radiology Equipment Hospital Imaging Services Interventional Cardiology Support Recruiter Submission Template - Full Name:Nursing Degree (University & Completion Year):Radiology Imaging Technologist Program (Institution & Completion Year):California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification (License Number & Expiration):ARRT Certification Status & Expiration Date:BLS Certification (AHA) Status & Expiration Date:CCI Certification (If Applicable):Total Years of Cardiovascular / Interventional Imaging Experience:Total Years of Cath Lab Experience:Experience as Hospital-Based Cardiovascular Technologist?
