Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging TechnologistYou work as under general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for the performance of advance cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Provides age-appropriate care (e.g., assists with data collection and providing care) for adolescent, adult and geriatric Ideal Candidate: Will have these certifications upon hire:California Radiologic TechnologistNational Certification from American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsNational Provider BLS - American Heart Association and a Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience.Required Qualifications:Graduate of ARRT School, or equivalent education/experience.California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.Preferred Qualifications:Additional training in angiocardiography, or equivalent education/experience.Advanced registration from ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging upon hire.2 years' experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital.
