SAP performance Engineer

Job Title: SAP Performance EngineerLocation: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)Duration: Long Term ContractExperience Required: 8-10 YearsJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced SAP Performance Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in performance engineering, scalability testing, and SAP application performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in performance testing of SAP applications, including Brownfield and Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations, and hands-on experience with performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and system tuning.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, develop, and implement performance and scalability benchmarks for SAP applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, debug, and improve system performance and scalability.Identify performance bottlenecks using profiling and monitoring tools and provide root cause analysis.Design and execute performance tests in automated environments and analyze test results.Conduct experiments to evaluate performance impacts of application and system changes.Participate in architecture and design reviews and provide performance engineering recommendations.Perform end-to-end performance analysis, tuning, and optimization of SAP applications and services.Monitor and optimize database performance, SQL queries, and JVM performance.Work with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.Required Skills & Qualifications8-10 years of experience in Performance Engineering and Software Testing.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in performance testing of SAP applications.Strong experience with Brownfield and Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations.Expertise in performance testing tools:LoadRunnerApache JMeterSoapUIPostmanStrong programming skills in one or more of the following:PythonPerlABAPJavaCExperience with:Performance benchmarking and scalability testingEnd-to-end performance analysis and root cause identificationRESTful APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)SQL performance tuning and database optimizationJVM tuning techniquesHands-on experience with monitoring tools:DynatraceAppDynamicsStrong understanding of relational and in-memory database systems.Experience with Git and version control.Must-Have SkillsSAP Performance TestingSAP S/4HANA (Brownfield & Greenfield Implementations)LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, PostmanDynatrace and AppDynamicsSQL Performance TuningSAP BTP Performance OptimizationRoot Cause Analysis and Performance EngineeringREST APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)Programming: Python, ABAP, Java, Perl, or C
