Staff Accountant

DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Lahaska, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Responsibilities:- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.- Manage the general ledger and ensure alignment with accounting principles.- Oversee sales tax reporting and compliance requirements.- Utilize Sage software to track fixed assets and maintain accurate records.- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and reporting.- Generate and analyze financial statements to provide actionable insights.- Maintain and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for financial tracking.- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.For immediate consideration please call the Trevose PA office of Robert Half at 215-244-1870.
