We're just built to be better. We are a great company.We are seeking a Geologist/Hydrogeologist, Project Manager to join our Woburn, MA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing budgets, and coordinating with clients and team members.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing and prepare all phases and associated Massachusetts Contingency Plan milestone documents as well as NH Contaminated Site Management and/or Maine Petroleum and Hazardous Waste Cleanup regulations.Designing and overseeing site assessments.Technical support for Atlas 24/7 Emergency Response effortsProcuring and managing subcontractors.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong time and task-management skillsSupporting other Atlas Technical Organizations and services lines commensurate with skills: Building Sciences, Regulatory Compliance, SPCC Plan preparation, NPDES Services, and/or Industrial HygieneSupporting business development and proposal efforts.Bachelor of Science degree in geology, environmental science, engineering or similar field of study9-12 years of professional experienceThorough knowledge of Massachusetts Contingency PlanStrong technical writing skills. Must be able to prepare reports independently and with limited direction.Valid drivers licenseTechnical Requirements:Knowledge and understanding of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan and developing compliance programs and preparing milestone reports.Current OSHA HAZWOPER CertificationProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Proficient with PDF softwareKnowledge of Teams/OneDrive/SharePointFill Environmental Professional role for ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reportsOther Miscellaneous Qualities:Tracking to obtain Licensed Site Professional License'sAbility to travel within New England up to 20% of the timeRisk Assessment, Site Assessment, Fate and Transport, and/or remediation design expertise a plus.Strong understanding of environmental field practices; environmental media sampling, soil and groundwater investigation, remediation oversight.Atlas offers a comprehensive benefit program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
