Environmental Project Manager

Position SummaryA leading infrastructure and environmental services contractor is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental remediation, compliance, and industrial service projects throughout the Southeast.This role is responsible for managing environmental field operations, client relationships, regulatory compliance, budgets, and project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental remediation, industrial services, rail-related environmental work, or heavy civil projects and thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full lifecycle of environmental and remediation projectsOversee site assessments, remediation activities, and environmental compliance effortsCoordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materialsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.)Prepare and review project scopes, proposals, cost estimates, and schedulesMonitor budgets and control project costsConduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory complianceServe as primary client contact and maintain strong working relationshipsPrepare reports, documentation, and regulatory submissions as requiredIdentify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on trackQualifications5+ years of experience in environmental project managementBackground in environmental remediation, industrial services, rail environmental support, or related fieldWorking knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and environmental compliance standardsExperience managing multiple field crews and subcontractorsStrong budgeting and cost-control experienceAbility to travel regionally to job sitesExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management softwarePreferred QualificationsExperience with rail corridor remediation or industrial site cleanupExperience with stormwater, SPCC, soil/groundwater remediation, or hazardous material projectsPMP certification (preferred but not required)Environmental science, engineering, or related degreeCompensation & BenefitsSalary - $65k-$85kPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off
