Accounting Specialist - Hospitality We are seeking candidates for an Accounting Specialist position with a private club located in Needham, MA. This position will support the day-to-day financial operations, focusing on high-volume transaction responsibilities across AP, AR, Billing, POS activity, and event-related accounting. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of hands-on accounting experience within the hospitality or non-profit industry. This is a direct hire position that will pay a base salary between $95,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience). This position is required to be on-site 5 days per week in their office. Responsibilities:Process accounts payable invoices, employee expense reports, and weekly payment runs in an accurate and timely manner.Manage client billing, account reconciliations, and payment processing, including cash, checks, ACH transactions, and wire transfers.Monitor and record sales activity, point-of-sale transactions, and event-related financial activity.Maintain and audit POS systems, including item setup and coding accuracy.Prepare and post general ledger entries, account transfers, and journal adjustments.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, reporting, and reconciliations.Respond to billing and account inquiries while supporting additional accounting projects and operational initiatives as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.3-5+ years of accounting experience within a service-oriented or multi-revenue stream environment preferred.Prior hospitality and non-profit industry experience is requiredExperience working with accounting and operational systems such as Jonas or Club Essentials is highly preferred.Ability and willingness to work onsite five days per week.Strong understanding of core accounting functions and day-to-day financial operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software systems.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.For immediate consideration, qualified and interested candidates may reach out directly to Olivia at ociviello@daleyaa.com.
