The business is heavily involved in large‑scale infrastructure, including data center and mission‑critical projects, but this experience is not required for this role.About the RoleThey are growing their controls team and are seeking a Controls Engineer who enjoys hands‑on project work, field exposure, and building practical, scalable automation solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop PLC and HMI/SCADA applications for automation projectsProgram, test, and commission control systems in the fieldCollaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver project requirementsTroubleshoot, modify, and support existing control systemsProduce and maintain technical documentation (control narratives, I/O lists, test plans, etc.) QualificationsExperience with Allen‑Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms and/or IgnitionRequired SkillsStrong PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development skillsHands‑on involvement in system startup, commissioning, and troubleshootingWillingness to travel up to 60%Comfortable working independently on-site and representing the business with customers Preferred SkillsExperience in data centers or mission‑critical environmentsBackground working for a systems integratorExperience with both Allen‑Bradley and IgnitionExposure to industrial, infrastructure, or utility-based automation projects Pay range and compensation packageFully remote role with consistent project travel.
