Labor Employment Associate

Our client, a top 20 AM Law firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its San Diego office.This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded and growing Labor & Employment Practice Group, working on a broad mix of complex employment litigation, traditional labor matters, and employment counseling. The team is known for its collaborative, cross-office approach and strong reputation in handling sophisticated workplace matters.This role is ideal for an associate looking to gain exposure to high-stakes litigation and advisory work within a dynamic and well-established national platform.ResponsibilitiesHandle a range of employment litigation matters, including:Class and representative actionsSingle-plaintiff employment claimsSupport and advise on traditional labor law mattersProvide employment counseling to clients on workplace issuesConduct legal research, drafting, and case strategy developmentCollaborate with attorneys across offices on complex, multi-jurisdictional mattersAssist with case management, discovery, and motion practiceQualifications3–5 years of Labor & Employment or complex litigation experienceExperience with employment litigation defense preferredExposure to class actions, representative actions, or traditional labor law is a plusStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-office environmentExcellent academic credentials requiredOrder of the Coif, law review, or clerkship experience is a plusBenefitsHighly competitive salary: $260,000 – $455,000 (based on experience)Opportunity to work within a top-tier, globally recognised law firmExposure to complex, high-profile employment mattersCollaborative environment with cross-office integrationStrong platform for career development and progressionWork within a growing and thriving practice groupIf you are interested in this position, and you meet the requirements of the role, please click “apply now” to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume.
