Operating across multiple markets in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company delivers highly reliable, efficient, and scalable facilities through a combination of greenfield development and strategic expansion.The organization is experiencing significant growth and continues to invest heavily in new campus developments and advanced infrastructure delivery.Position OverviewThe Senior Construction Manager is responsible for leading the execution of medium‑ to large‑scale data center capital projects at a major campus in Port Washington, Wisconsin. This role provides end‑to‑end ownership of construction delivery, from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover to Operations.Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Construction Manager oversees multiple concurrent workstreams, manages internal and external stakeholders, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and operational standards.This is a key leadership role within the construction organization, requiring strong technical judgment, decisive execution, and the ability to integrate seamlessly across Construction, Engineering, Development, and Operations teams.This position is fully on‑site in Port Washington, WI.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Leadership and Project ExecutionLead overall management of project scope, safety, schedule, stakeholders, and budget across assigned capital projectsDrive all phases of construction delivery including preconstruction planning, design development, permitting, competitive bidding, contractor selection, construction oversight, commissioning, and closeoutManage multiple projects and deliverables concurrently while maintaining alignment with broader organizational objectivesTranslate project requirements into execution with minimal supervision and strong independent judgmentSafety, Quality, and ComplianceImplement and enforce comprehensive safety and quality programs across all work scopesConduct regular site safety walks and ensure contractor compliance with environmental health and safety requirementsEnsure construction activities comply with Basis of Design, specifications, codes, and applicable regulatory standardsFinancial and Commercial ManagementDevelop RFPs and manage project‑level budgeting and cost controlsPrepare and submit regular financial reporting, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and variance trackingReview and validate contractor billing through job walks and progress verificationSupport contract development, negotiation, and ongoing vendor managementCross‑Functional Collaboration and Operational IntegrationPartner closely with design teams, contractors, and operations stakeholders to ensure coordinated deliveryCoordinate logistics and planning for owner‑furnished, contractor‑installed equipmentLead commissioning activities and critical systems integration across new and existing data center facilitiesEnsure complete and accurate handoff of physical assets and project documentation to OperationsMaintain a strong understanding of mission‑critical facility operations and uptime requirementsLeadership and Continuous ImprovementServe as a mentor and leader to construction team members, promoting accountability and collaborationCapture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, cost, schedule, and qualityAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerform additional duties as assigned based on business needsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 7 years of experience leading construction projects of increasing complexity; 7-10+ years preferredExperience delivering mission‑critical or data center construction projects strongly preferredProven experience managing CSA and MEP construction scopesFamiliarity with multi‑prime or alternative delivery methods preferredProficiency with construction management and scheduling tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, and commissioning platforms preferredStrong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentTravel expected to be approximately 10 percent, with potential to increase as projects evolve
