This individual will be responsible for the following duties:Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projectsGenerating business leadsEnsuring projects are estimated thoroughly and timelyEstablish labor productivity for estimateUnderstanding of market conditions, including competitive approach, backlog, risk, and other factors for establishing margin percentagesConducting internal bid reviews with management, operations, and cost controls team membersCreating and maintaining positive relationships with customers and PCI team membersInitiate and participate in customer alignment eventsContract administration for secured projectsConduct project hand-offs of secured projects to the Operations TeamAttend job walksAssist in supporting team bid-log efforts and customer and project trackingAssist in providing change order management and billings for each projectSalary range is between $78,900 - $106,000Basic RequirementsAt least 2 years' experience estimating construction projectsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field, or 5 years of comparable work experience is requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordA clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawingsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taughtSuperb customer service skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to build strong relationships with customersPositive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit Preferred RequirementsExperience with erection and dismantling of scaffold is preferredTechnical knowledge and understanding of systems, frame & brace, shoring, swing stage, and tube & clamp scaffold is preferredExperience with working with union representatives is preferredOSHA CertificationLocal to the Dallas-Fort Worth metro areaBenefitsAt Performance Contracting, our employees are our greatest asset.
