The company specializes in design-build delivery, commercial interior fit-ups, renovations, tenant improvements, and select ground-up construction projects. Known for quality execution, repeat clientele, and a collaborative, team-oriented culture.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team. This individual will play a key role in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of projects, including commercial interiors, renovations, and new ground-up builds. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and design teams throughout all phases of preconstruction.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial fit-up, renovation, tenant improvement, and ground-up projectsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and conceptual designs to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and pricingDevelop conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates for design-build projectsSolicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bidsIdentify value engineering opportunities and provide cost-saving recommendationsCollaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams during design developmentAssist in preparing proposals, bid submissions, and client presentationsMaintain and update cost databases, unit pricing, and historical cost dataSupport seamless handoff to project management and field teams upon project awardQualifications5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractorExperience with commercial interiors, tenant improvements, renovations, and ground-up constructionDesign-build project experience strongly preferredProficiency in estimating and takeoff software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, or similar)Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and Texas market pricingExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + performance-based bonusComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company contributionStrong pipeline of both negotiated and competitive bid workLong-term growth with a stable and reputable contractorWe are proactively building a pipeline of Construction Estimating Professionals for current and future opportunities in the Dallas Ft-Worth.
