Apply via Dice today!Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality Engineering TechnicianPay Rate: $35.00/hourLocation: Springdale, OH 45246Area Code: 513Shift: 1stEmployment Type: Direct, Benefits#QualityEngineering #AerospaceQuality #AS9100Job SummaryBelcan is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician to support aerospace manufacturing operations through documentation control, MRB backlog reduction, and shop floor quality support. This onsite role is critical to maintaining compliance with AS9100 standards, ensuring record integrity, and enabling timely disposition of nonconforming material.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord Retention & Documentation Control:Review, organize, and digitize manufacturing and quality records in compliance with aerospace standardsEnsure accuracy, traceability, and proper storage of documentationPrepare and transfer records to long-term storage (e.g., Iron Mountain)Maintain detailed logs of processed and archived recordsShop Floor Quality Support:Ensure routers, work instructions, and quality documentation are current and availableVerify alignment between system updates and shop floor documentationIdentify, document, and escalate discrepancies or gapsSupport shop floor execution by helping remove documentation-related blockersMRB (Material Review Board) Management:Monitor and manage aged MRB items in eNMS and related systemsCoordinate with quality, engineering, and GE Aerospace teams to drive timely dispositionTrack and report MRB backlog status and closure progressRequired Qualifications High school diploma or associate degree (Bachelor"s preferred) 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or production support Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated shop floor environment Basic understanding of manufacturing documentation and quality processes Due to the nature of the work ship is requiredPreferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace or other regulated environments (AS9100/ISO9001) Familiarity with MRB processes and nonconformance tracking systems Experience with document control or quality records management Exposure to GE Aerospace systems or programsBelcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $35.00 per hour.
