Management, Scientific, and Technical Consulting ServicesProfessional and Commercial Equipment and Supplies Merchant WholesalersFootwear ManufacturingPrinting and Related Support ActivitiesFabric MillsTechnical DesignerCreate and maintain technical spec packages, graded measurements, fit comments, and construction details for all styles from development through production • Lead live fittings on fit models, evaluate fit issues, and recommend appropriate corrections to achieve consistent fit and quality standards • Review and correct paper patterns as needed to support proper garment construction and fit execution • Take measurements and evaluate proto, PP, SMS and TOP samples to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards • Provide detailed fit, construction, and workmanship comments to overseas factories and vendors • Partner closely with Design and Product Development teams to maintain design intent while improving fit, comfort, and functionality • Track sample status, revisions, and approvals to support on-time development and production deadlines • Review and approve grading, measurement specifications, and tolerances across all size ranges • Troubleshoot fit, construction, and production-related issues throughout the development and production process • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, factories, and vendors to ensure alignment and execution • Support bulk production approvals and ensure consistency from sample stage through final production • Utilize strong technical knowledge of garment construction, patterns, grading, and fit to deliver high-quality product • Work closely with overseas factories on fit corrections, construction details, and production timelines • Experience working with mass merchants and large retail accounts such as Walmart and Sam’s Club preferred • 3–7+ years of Technical Design experience with a strong focus on men’s bottoms • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field preferred • Proficient in Excel with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and collaborative approach • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
