This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in accounting, reporting, and office operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a business environment that offers meaningful exposure to multiple industries.This internship is available for an immediate start and will continue through the end of 2026, with the potential to lead to a full-time position or continued part-time employment.ResponsibilitiesPost, verify, and maintain financial transactions and accounting recordsMaintain subsidiary accounts by allocating and posting transactions accuratelyAssist with preparation of financial statements, ledgers, income statements, and balance sheetsUse accounting software and spreadsheets to organize and manage financial dataAssist with budgets, forecasts, monthly and quarterly reports, monthly revenue disbursements, and joint interest billingsCollect, analyze, and summarize information for tax reporting and related documentationIdentify discrepancies and assist with resolving accounting issuesProvide general office and administrative support, including answering phones, ordering supplies, taking inventory, and assisting staff as neededDeliver documents to the post office, banks, and other business locations when necessaryAssist with accounting support for affiliated entities, including oil and gas holding companies, a farming entity, a financial partnership, a mineral company, and certain personal accountsQualificationsJunior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a recent graduate with bachelor’s degree in accountingFamiliarity with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis toolsGeneral understanding of accounting principles, including accruals, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenueStrong attention to detail and accuracyEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to identify and resolve discrepanciesKnowledge of, or willingness to learn, accounting software, including PakEnergyStrong attendance recordGPA disclosure and transcript requiredWhy ApplyPaid internship with real-world accounting experienceFlexible scheduling around class schedulesExposure to multiple business sectors and affiliated entitiesOpportunity to work directly with experienced professionalsPotential path to full-time employmentApplication InstructionsTo apply, please submit your resume, GPA, transcript and a brief introduction outlining your interest in the position and relevant coursework or experience.
