Position: Food Quality TechnicianSchedule: Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (occasional Sundays)Pay: $18-$21/hourReports to: FSQA ManagerJob SummaryWe're hiring a Food Quality Technician to help ensure our food products meet the highest safety and quality standards. You'll perform lab testing, monitor production, verify labeling and ingredients, and support compliance with food safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform line checks and quality auditsConduct lab testing (pH, salt, moisture, etc.)Monitor cooking/cooling temps and equipment like metal detectorsVerify labeling, ingredients, and product specificationsPull samples for micro testingEnforce GMPs, HACCP, and SQF complianceDocument non-conformances and input data into ERP systemRequirements1+ year in food quality or safety roleHigh school diploma (degree in Food Science preferred)Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Willing to work 2nd shift permanentlyPCQI and HACCP knowledge (certification preferred)Able to lift 40 lbs and work in cold environmentsSpanish a plusNote: This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
