This is a 10-bed unit that ensures patients receive optimal medical attention and support (4 in OR and 6 in Recovery).The RN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Performs admission assessment and reassessments as set forth within hospital Standards of Care time frames.Documents accurately in the patient's medical record.Monitors response to medication.Monitors lab work results.Evaluates and addresses the education needs of patient and family and coordinates discharge assistance including home health needs indicated.Conveys to supervisor any problems related to supplies or equipment as well as information pertaining to problem.Performs reassessments of patient based on guidelines set forth in the SOC.Notifies physician, anesthesia provider, charge nurse, and other individuals when appropriate, of any adverse changes in patient's condition.Ability to work in all areas of surgical services i.e., outpatient, circulate, scrub, PACY, and Phase II.Connect with our RN recruiting specialistNot ready to complete an application, or have questions?
