The Global Controller - Water Treatment Equipment will lead the company’s global controllership organization and serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership team. This role is responsible for driving financial governance, operational controllership, global compliance oversight, financial discipline, and process standardization across all regions and business entities.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, multinational operational experience, and the ability to build and manage high-performing global finance teams in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.Specific duties and responsibilities of this role include: Global Controllership Leadership: Lead and oversee the company’s global controllership operations across all regions and legal entities. Establish and maintain strong financial governance, operational controls, and standardized finance processes globally. Ensure consistency and alignment of financial policies, procedures, and reporting practices across the organization. Partner with regional finance leaders to support operational and business objectives while maintaining financial discipline. Drive accountability, transparency, and operational excellence across the global finance organization. Global Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed controllership team across multiple geographies. Manage regional and country controllers to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and compliance requirements. Build scalable organizational structures and processes to support the company’s continued international growth. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across finance teams worldwide. Support succession planning, capability development, and talent retention within the controllership organization. Financial Operations and Compliance Oversight: Oversee global close processes and ensure timely, accurate, and reliable financial operations across all entities. Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. Coordinate and oversee external audits and statutory compliance activities globally. Monitor operational risks and implement controls and mitigation strategies where necessary. Support compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations in partnership with regional teams and external advisors. Process Improvement and Transformation: Drive finance transformation initiatives focused on process simplification, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency. Ensure optimal utilization of SAP and financial systems to support global reporting and operational visibility. Lead initiatives to standardize workflows, improve reporting quality, and enhance operational effectiveness. Support finance system implementations, integrations, and upgrades across regions. Strategic Business Partnership: Partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team on strategic initiatives and business growth plans. Support global expansion initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and operational scaling activities. Provide leadership on financial operational matters across international business operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, tax, treasury, operations, HR, and commercial teams globally.Requirements for this position include: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required. CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Minimum 12–15 years of progressive finance and controllership experience within multinational organizations.Proven experience leading global or regional finance teams across multiple geographiesSkills and competencies for this role include: Strong leadership and organizational management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across global teams and executive leadership. Strong operational mindset with a focus on process improvement and scalability. Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
