Corporate Field Controller (Healthcare Operations)We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally focused Corporate Field Controller to support financial performance across multiple hospital locations. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can go beyond the numbers—translating financial data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities for improvement, and partnering with facility leadership to drive performance.The Field Controller provides oversight of field-based financial operations related to cost control, revenue performance, and KPI management, while serving as a key advisor to hospital administrators and executive leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Hospital Administrators and leadership teams to interpret financial performance and drive operational decision-makingAnalyze, calculate, and clearly communicate key hospital KPIs on a weekly basisDeliver productivity reporting, trend analysis, and performance summaries across multiple facilitiesIdentify financial and operational variances; provide clear recommendations and solutionsSupport development of pro formas related to revenue, labor, and supply costsEvaluate cost control processes and implement strategies to improve financial efficiencyAudit financial and operational workflows, recommending improvements where neededCollaborate with corporate leadership to implement financial initiatives and standardize best practicesDevelop tools and resources that enable facility leaders to better understand and act on financial dataMonitor and assess relationships between operational metrics and financial outcomesAssist with financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights (not just reporting)Maintain oversight of large capital projects and support facility-level financial trackingPartner cross-functionally to ensure clean data flow and integrity of financial informationSupport KPI development and performance tracking for both facilities and corporate departmentsTravel to facilities to provide hands-on financial support and consultationWhat Sets This Role ApartHeavy emphasis on financial analysis, storytelling, and strategic recommendationsDirect partnership with operations and executive leadershipOpportunity to influence real-time business decisions and performance improvementLess focus on transactional accounting, more focus on insight and impactQualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience:Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in healthcare finance, financial analysis, or operational financeStrong background in financial modeling, KPI analysis, and performance managementExperience working closely with operations teams to drive business outcomesProven ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearlyLicensure/Certification:CPA preferred, but not required (analytical and operational experience prioritized)What We’re Looking ForStrong analytical mindset with the ability to connect financials to operationsConfident communicator who can present insights and influence decision-makingProactive problem-solver who brings solutions—not just reportsAbility to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel and engage directly with facility leadership teams
