Accounting Clerk - I

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and support our financial management activities. Account Clerk Responsibilities & Duties Enter/reconcile financial transactions into the company's accounting system Assist with preparation and analysis of financial reports Verify accuracy of financial records and reports Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions Responding to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders Assist with budget preparation and monitoring Account Clerk Qualifications & Skills Associate’s degree in accounting or substantial experience in related field Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills, both written and verbal Previous experience in a similar role High school diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of accounting principles Strong mathematical skills Proficiency in data entry and management Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Good problem-solving skills Effective time management abilities Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks Pay: $19.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
