A recruiter will respond to your resume within five business days.Responsibilities:Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types.Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope.Support development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client's project and strategic goals.Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration.Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures.Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of cost information.Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals.Qualifications:3-5 years of cost estimating experience in vertical construction/engineering projects preferred.Mechanical/plumbing cost estimating experience required.Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications).Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsA bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture, or 2 years of applicable construction trade experience in lieu of a degree, is preferred.Benefits include:Hybrid flexibility depending on position.Company-sponsored Medical/Dental/Vision and Life Insurance401K Program with a Company MatchPaid Holidays / Sick Leave / Vacation AccrualCompany Team Building, Employee Events, and a fun, people-first environmentCompensation: $105,000 -125,000OCMI, Inc.
