Gastroenterology Physician

Gastroenterology - Northern West Virginia Employed practice seeks BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join their team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs. Group is adding another APP Base salary: $500,000 - $600,000 commensurate with experience plus productivity bonus Three physicians in practice do ERCP and one other performs advanced procedures Both general and advanced Gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply. Able to start with about 25% advanced cases to start with a max of approximately 35-40% 6,000 sq ft clinic was recently renovated, contains 13 exam rooms, and is attached to the hospital Block scheduled procedures two days per week Patient census: Average clinic day - 24 patients Average procedure day (2 days per week) = 15 procedures Average inpatient census 20-30, including new consults with an APP to assist Call: Inpatient: day call rotated weekly - during week on inpatient, there are no clinical responsibilities. APP support offered during inpatient week Outpatient: rotated equally amongst physicians in group EMR: EPIC in both clinic and hospital Very strong administrative support Hospital has a Family Medicine residency program allowing participation in grand rounds and lectures, if desired Excellent benefits package offered and strong recruitment incentives available for multi-year contract Located just under 2 hours from Pittsburgh and within easy driving distance to many Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern cities H1B cap exempt and J1 visa sponsorship offered for 2024 graduates
