Job Title: AWS DevOps EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: 3+ monthsResponsibilities:Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and securityMonitor compute systems (VMs, Kubernetes clusters) to optimize for performance & cost efficiencyManage and build CI/CD tools/pipelinesCollaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth code integration into productionManage network-related workloads including DNS and security groupsDefine and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenanceProactively identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, ensuring optimal application performance and minimal downtimeEnforce cloud security best practices to ensure compliance with HIPAA and HitechStay updated with emerging cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, and security advancements to continuously improve the cloud environment Required Skills:Hands-on experience working with any of the major cloud providers, preferably AWSProficient with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Proficient in continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesStrong experience in networking concepts - VPC, Subnet, CIDR ranges, Security Groups, NAT, VPNProficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, eksctl)Familiarity working with DNS providersProficient with relational database management & query optimization, preferably Postgres.Understanding of monitoring & logging systems, for example, CloudwatchFamiliarity working with version control tools such as GithubGood communication skillsStrong goal-oriented candidate with a continuous drive to learn and grow
