Procurement Intern
Audubon is currently seeking a Procurement Intern to join our team. The Procurement Intern will support the procurement team with purchasing activities, vendor coordination, data management, and project support activities for active survey, transmission, pipeline, substation, and infrastructure projects. This role will assist with maintaining procurement records, tracking purchase orders, supporting vendor communications, and preparing reports and documentation for internal teams and clients. The position will provide hands-on experience with procurement systems, supplier management, and project-based procurement workflows in a fast-paced consulting environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the creation, editing, organization, and maintenance of procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier documentationSupport procurement of materials, equipment, and services for project needsPerform data validation and QA/QC checks to improve data accuracy, consistency, and completenessAssist with tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure timely processingAssist with vendor coordination, onboarding, and maintaining supplier databasesPrepare reports, summaries, and documentation for project teams and internal stakeholdersSupport project teams by coordinating material needs and procurement activitiesAssist with inventory tracking and logistics coordination as neededHealth, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safetyParticipating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activitiesIdentifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditionsFollowing safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirementsEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related fieldBasic understanding of procurement processes, purchasing, and supply chain principlesFamiliarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to perform data review and quality checksGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsNo Recruiters, please!Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
